What happens if you dont update your address while you are bankrupt?

I am currently bankrupt and have moved around a bit. I now know that I was supposed to update my address while bankrupt but I havent. It says that it is an offence to not update details and I was wondering if anyone know what the penalty was for not updating?

I cannot tell from your question whether you are located in the USA or not.

In the USA there is no criminal penalty for failing to update the bankruptcy court regarding your address, but you will not receive communications from the court or the trustee if you do not update your address, and therefore are at a substantial risk for having your bankruptcy dismissed for failing to respond to a notice or inquiry.
