SmileyPooh asked: I have a car that I financed with a company only to find out that the company has gone bankrupt. I want to trade that car in on another one with another finance company but I am as they say upside down and locked in with the company that has gone bankrupt. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove myself from this company without ruining my credit?

woroguda asked: My finance company repossessed my car and sold it for $1200. How would they have disposed of a late model, low mileage vehicle for so little money and can the general public participate?

writermaury asked: Which is the best way to finance a used car — through a bank or through a dealer? Will you get a better interest rate going directly through a bank? Will the dealer give as good of a deal if he does not get a cut on the financing?
